Playing Fees

Competition and Social Play

Waratah Golf Club offers extremely good value for money when you play on our course. Both members and visitors alike are able play on a challenging course that offers all types of players and handicaps a great day of golf.

At the Board Meeting held in September 2010 it was resolved to change the green fees in some competitions and social catergories for both members and visitors. These prices are applicable as from 1st of October 2010. A list of these fees are as follows:

(1)Fees stated are for normal competitions e.g. Individual Stroke or Stableford rounds etc. Special events such as the Club Championship or the Patio World W E Alexander Open may be charged at a different rate and these fees will advertised both here on our web site and in the Club House. It is up to the individual to check on the playing fees for any competition they enter.
(2)These Playing Fees are set by the Board of Corkers. For their rules of entry and playing conditions please contact their representatives at the club each Thursday.
(3)Visitors are allowed to play in most competitions at Waratah Golf Club. Visitors are those players who are fully paid up members at another affiliated golf club. Their level of membership at their home club will determine which competitions they can compete in at Waratah Golf Club. For example, if they only have membership which provides 5 day membership i.e. Monday to Friday then they will not be able play in our Saturday or Sunday Competitions. There must be an equivalence of membership.
Visitors who qualify to enter our competitions may enter their names on our time sheets as soon as they become available except for the Saturday time sheet where visitors are only able to enter their names from the Thursday immediately prior to the Saturday they wish to play.
(4)There are certain Rules and Regulations regarding the hire and use of motorised carts on our golf course. For all the details please see our Cart Usage page.
(5)Includes a round of golf and a ball.
