Some of the features we can offer you at our Golf Club include:
- Very affordable green fees of $21.00* including GST per player for 2008. (Social Club rates only)
- An 18-hole layout that offers some of the most interesting and challenging holes in the Hunter region.
- Practice green and practice nets at the Club House and a practice range bound by the 18thhole and Cockle Creek.
- A fully licensed clubhouse with bistro and poker machines. Normal amenities for both men and women are available, including showers, if you should need them.
- A fully stocked Professional shop under the guidance of Matthew Stapleton. Carts are available from the Pro shop upon request. Carts are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. There are 15 carts available all year round with a further five during the summer months
- Our bar-b-que area at the 10th tee is open most Sundays from 8:00am and provides a varied menu of hot food and cold drinks. Isn't it just what you need to get rid of some of those Front 9 blues or to help you continuing on your winning way!
- Our new deck at the rear of the club offers an excellent opportunity for you conclude the day by way of presentation of trophies to your members, or call us to organise a BBQ at reasonable cost to your members.
- An enjoyable time!
Further points of interest that you should know are:
- Stroke Events are not permitted unless Waratah Golf Club gives prior approval. Playing groups must be limited to four players only. Smaller groups are allowed as long as they do not increase the overall tee off times allocated to your social club.
- Dress Rules, Cart Usage Rules and Course Etiquette must be observed at all times.
- Please have your members ready to tee off at least fifteen (15) minutes before your allocated start time in order for us to keep the field moving.
- Please Note: It is illegal to bring alcohol onto Licensed Premises.
Thank you for considering Waratah Golf Club as part of your social golf calendar. We look forward to seeing you and your members in 2008.
Kind Regards,
Paul Martin
